» People that feed Orijen - how did you start feeding it and why do you like it? ?

After consulting with my vet - who does know a little about nutrition, and the woman at the store where I get my dog food, I switched from Canidae to Orijen. The vet and I thought that Dale might have a slight food allergy to the barley and millet in the Canidae (as he was a good weight according to the vet - he lost weight since last visit - but looked like he was retaining fluid and looked puffy to me) and his poo alternated between firm and runny. (My doctor a year ago said I had a grain intolerance which made me eat more and i retained fluid - once I started eating more complex carbs - veggies - and protein - the weight and puffiness almost fell off - so I figured why not talk to my vet and see if she thought grain -free was the way to...... - 2008-12-21

» onMotionFinished

Hi there, I seem to have used a rather odd-working onMotionFinished handler. When I trace something inside it, it works fine. But when I call another function, nothing happens. Any ideas? ActionScript Code: t.onMotionFinished = function() { trace("hooah"); // works fine } but! t.onMotionFinished = function() { anotherFunction(); // doesn't do anything }a little more code needed to answer you properly...This sounds like a scope problem, is that code inside another function? If so try this.. me = this; t.onMotionFinished = function() { me.anotherFunction(); } Otherwise try and make sure the function is accesible in t... if it is declared elsewhere you might want to declare your function with _global or MovieClip.prototy...... - 2008-12-21

» Wach movies from the internet????

How can i wach my movie over the internet from a html?It needs to be a quicktime movie or your can pretty much import any video files into Flash MX and then publish a flash file on the web with your video included! That's what i allready started doing desperadely. The thing is that i've compresed the movie to a very little size with a very good quality down to 4 MB If i import that movie into flash with 100 % quality and size, 12 fps, the movie takes up 50 MB. So in order to view the movie in flash, the quality and the size goes down by 50%. The result is far away from what i achieved compressing the movie.. Maybe there's a way of loading a movie from location into flash? There is, your using Flash MX right? Go to the main kiru...... - 2008-12-21

» Microsoft begins invitations to Office 12 beta program

Microsoft has revealed that Office 12 will feature a radically new user interface. A detailed video tour of the new interface has been made available for download from Microsoft. In addition, the company is now accepting applications for external beta testers for the Office 12 program. To apply, simply enter the invite code PDCOffice, then fill out the application form provided on the site. The new interface is a striking departure from the traditional Office model. The very earliest versions of Word and Excel used the traditional pull-down menu system popularized by the Macintosh, standardizing on the now-familiar menu order of "File," "Edit," "View," etc. In addition, Office added a way to access common features (such as boldface or it...... - 2008-12-21

An officer is at a person's home making a lawful arrest. The officer comes out to take the person to the squad car and he notices her car parked in the driveway. As he walks past it he sees a paper bag inside it with a gun barrel sticking out. He searches the bag and finds four stolen guns inside it. Was it lawful for him to look inside the car? Could a motion be filed to try and suppress the evidence?Contrary to what people have written- the officer does need a warrant to search the vehicle in this instance, this type of search does NOT fall under the Carrol Doctrine. i have a 26 days old babay pegion can i give it some fruits like cherry bananas apple etcDepends on the type of pigeon. The so-called fruit pigeons as a general rule do not breed as prolifically as the seed eating species. Moreover, they require soft food in the form of boiled rice mixed with chopped fruit, whereas seed-eaters require little else than various grains and occasional mealworms and a little mynah-bird food. I must get an address for Holland America Cruise lines, as we were persuaded to book tickets under false pretences. We are entitled to "interline" prices, which are offered to airline employees and some others. We phoned Holland America with our travel agent (3-way), so we were all privy to the information that we were given. We were persuaded to purchase the tickets immediately as they expected the cruise to sell out and this was for our birthdays so it was a trip (to Hawaii) for 18 days that we were very anxious to get as their dates were the only ones to link up with my husbands holidays. I wish to find an on-line sales source for Quantz's Horn Concerto #9 in E-flat (maybe that was a misprint and it is #3 but capradio.org's schedule of what I heard said it was #9--Mar. 5 at 6:20AM), played by Barry Tuckwell. There was a recording: LONDON 917406 (or 417406?). Directed by Iona Brown. I can't find it at Arkivmusic, Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or PRMS.org. In fact I can't find ANY recording by Barry Tuckwell of this or any other Quantz concerto. The most I have found is a review which refers to Tuckwell on an album supposedly entitled Baroque Horn Concertos, but I can't find that either. The catalogue # is 417406 (not 917406) and it is Horn Concerto #3 (not #9) and it is by Academy St. Martin in the Field...... - 2008-12-21

What could this be? The car lunges when i am giving it gas prior to it cutting off. I am thinking about selling it, but i want to check to make sure it isn't something simple before i do that. There is white smoke that comes out of the exhaust when it cuts off. I know isn't a head gasket. What could it be?Most likely cause is your car loosing spark. The wd-40 idea is indeed a good one. I would change the cap, rotor and plugs first to eliminate this factor. A cracked cap will result in the problems your mentioned. a cap and rotor is about 25 dollars and takes about 10 minutes to install. with Ronaldinho, Okocha, Heinze, El Karkouri and many more, is PSG the best French side of the recent to have produced many quality players for top-class European football? what do you think lads?I believe that it would be more appropriate to say that the french league as a whole is the blacksmith of talent.I believe that it would be more appropriate to say that the french league as a whole is the blacksmith of talent. That is more like it.maybe, you're right guys. but if we take Cissé and Drogba - the players who made it cross the Channel not long ago - as an example of the quality you're talking about, we might as well consider Italy and Spain to be the producers of talent. :rolleyes:Do you guys know anything about Cyril Sousa? he ju...... - 2008-12-21

» Is 137/61 blood pressure ok for 80 year old male?

This is an average for my father for thirty days. He just had valve replacement and 4X bypass surgery 15 weeks ago? That average blood pressure is reasonable for a gentleman of your father's age. In no way does it indicate heart failure. There has to be a balance between tight BP control (below 120/80s) and keeping your father from getting unwanted effects like dizziness, unsteadiness, or significant fatigue. As a doctor, I always appreciate additional information my patient's or their families can provide such as BP trends at home. In addition to the average, I would also give an idea of the highest and lowest values seen. This would give your doctor the information he or she may need to adjust medications.sounds ok but the new...... - 2008-12-21

» Advice on Bent Garage Door Track

My wife forgot to close a car door, pulled out of the garage, and bent the heck out of the car door and the track that the overhead door for the garage goes in. Neither the car or the garage door opens or closes anymore. :( Tried going to HD, but they didn't have any tracks. I've got a company coming out tomorrow. I'm just wondering if anyone has been through something similar or knows about it. I'm kind of curious as to if just the damaged part of the track can be replaced? If the track should just get some not-so-gentle persuasion to be mostly straight again. And also, in your neck of the woods if you know how much that would cost. I've included a picture of the bent track here, with the one next to it for a straight reference. ...... - 2008-12-21

I need a email data base of all the retailers selling Mountain Bike products around Australia.Hi - "All" is not really viable, since we'll probably have to build a database, and there are probably hundreds. Can you give us a number of how many retailers you'd like to see? jbf777-ga GA ResearcherHi JBF, the more stores that I can have the better. I certainly realise that the numbers could be large. » Can a teacher ????????????

can i teacher report some one if they were talking about suicide? for an example say some one was talking about killing there self to the teacher and the person told the teacher not to tell any one .. but the teacher is very worried about the person .. doesn't the teacher have a right to report the person cause it their job and they must.. or can they not say anything ..?Yes. There is no confidentiality agreement. In fact, I would go as far as to say he or she is obligated to take action. They are bound by law to report it. a teacher should never promise not to tell anyone when a child confides in them as they have a duty to report anything that is worrying- that is for child protection reasons. And yes, a teacher will give the inform...... - 2008-12-21

» How can i find out about Broadway auditions?

I never seem to find out when the auditions are and if i do its always to lateOne good source of audition information is the weekly newspaper "Back Stage." http://www.backstage.com/bso/index.jsp Keep in mind that many Broadway auditions are open exclusively or primarily to members of Actors' Equity. You might have better luck auditioning for roles at Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, regional, and community theatres. That could be a good way for you to gain some experience and some resume credits as you work your way up in the profession, with the ultimate goal of earning your union card and auditioning for Broadway shows....... - 2008-12-21

Are you submitting all of them, or is there a particular color that you would REALLY like? :) Would it be possible for you to break the size of each stamp down to the size of the template and attach it to the forums? I am planning on having a page full of stamps in the kirupaLab, and it would be easier if the stamps did not go beyond the boundaries of the template.haha - that is great. » Compact Flash cards in the washer.

Lets say a guy was out taking photos today, stuck a flash card in his shirt pocket because he forgot his watertight, superduper case, came home, changed shirts, and his wife washed the shirt and the card. Will the card survive?Wow I can only imagine what you are going thru. I don't know the answer but I searched blingo (like google) ... compact flash cards and water guess what....you are not alone. Try that here was a reply someone posted to a guy who knocked his card off the counter in to the dogs bowl... The only thing you did wrong was you didn’t rinse it. Strange as it sounds, short term exposure to water won’t hurt electronics, at least as long as it isn’t powered. What does the damage is the dirt left behind aft...... - 2008-12-21

» How is music an aid to concentrate?

Research on the brain has been immense. The scientific study of the brain has become an essential endeavor in understanding human life. Music has been found to have profound effect on the brain. Psychologists and scientists have been looking at the link between music, with mood, work efficiency and concentration for years. In our experiment, we hope to find a correlation between a specific genre of music and greater work efficiency and concentration. We plan to give Miami University students a brief reading comprehension test while listening to a certain genre of music (rock, rap, classical, instrumental, techno, and no music). After testing 90 students, we hope to reach a conclusion about what music helps concentration and work efficiency....... - 2008-12-21

» I have a sore throat?

I have a sore throat and it hurts every time i swallow. I have tried warm salty water and honey and lemon tea and it does not work and i dont want to go out and buy something.Ugh, gosh I know exactly how that feels. I get a sore throat pretty often, and it hurts when i swallow too. If you have any sore throat lozenges, those usually help me a little. Or some sore throat spray. I use that at night usually, so I can fall asleep easier. Tylenol, or benedryl works too. But if you don't have any of those, try a popsicle. Sometimes the coldness feels good to my throat when i eat a popsicle. I would also suggest hot soup, hot tea, or cold tea, and I know this sounds weird, but try some warm apple juice. When my throat was hurting one time,...... - 2008-12-21

looking for artist by the name of biokarstattHi dalichichi, I haven't been able to locate any information for the artist "Biokarstatt". Are you certain of the spelling? The closest I could find to the artist you are seeking is Bierstadt. If you believe this is the same artist as the one you are requesting, please let me know and I will post the information I have gathered. Regards, rainbow~Hi dalichichi, Did you get the name "Biokarstatt" by trying to read the artist's signature? There are artists whose signed names could easily be mistaken for Biokarstatt. » Continuous Lighting Power Supply

I'm wanting to bring my studio lighting outdoors. Obviously, there won't always be a wall outlet for me to plug my continuous tungsten into. What are some of the best bang-for-buck power supplies out there that aren't too costly? I've seen some on B&H for $1000. I'm looking for CHEAPER! :)Approaching this from an engineering perspective instead of a photography perspective (i have no idea on these products). If the lights don't draw too much power you could potentially just get a simple power inverter for a car battery. They would be MUCH cheaper.http://www.nextag.com/coleman-proforce-generator/search-htmlThis is a sitauation best handled by the use of small strobe lights. They are reasonably portable and the power is from simple batterie...... - 2008-12-21

I need a listing for business conventions held in the United States with number of attendeesDear Sabine, Your question is about to expire without having been answered, and you might be disappointed. One possible reason for that is the pricing you put on your question, given the fact that you ask for collection of data that might be not readily available, or that is collected only by professional market-research firms. » Need some suggestions on making a 3d constellations model..?

Hi, I have a project the will be presenting numerous constellations and I was wondering how I should be presenting it. It could be in any form, but as much as possible I should avoid flat projects. It would be better if it is 3d. Thanks ahead!you can buy pink (and I think thicker blue foam) for home depot. Get a hacksaw blade to due super rough cuts, then sureform to give more detail and files to complete it. It ends up really light and you can paint it after. With the smaller files you can work really small. The foam is perfect for using wire if you want to connect the objects. Also some art stores sell foam shapes (balls, squares, stars etc.) good luck...... - 2008-12-21

» XBMC suitable for pre-amped speakers?

Hey all, have a weird problem and don't know much about audio stuff so bear with me.... My sister has some speakers featuring a built in amp, and is looking for an unamped CD player to play audio through them as her current one creates a load of hiss and i presume is pre-amped and causing problems... Would an xbmc xbox be suitable? Just using the regular RCA left/right analogue stereo output can I get it outputting a line level signal which would presumably alleviate the problem? Or am I talking bollocks again? Thanks.Any normal CD player will output line level, as the xbox does. So yes, either should be fine. It'd certainly be a good test to see whether it's the CD player, the connections, or actually a problem with the amp/speaker combo...... - 2008-12-21
